At Tunnels and Underground Construction Eurasia 2010 you will learn about the key challenges in regards to planning, desining, constructing tunnels and underground construction in the Turkish region. The current demand of tunnels and underground construction has been rising . Therefore Turkey needs to increase infrastructure spending in order to cope with the high demand. This means that there is a need for high quality, durable tunnels and underground projects through the most appropriate methods, processes and partners.
The high demand of surrounding countries has lead in Turkish Government, Municiplaities and developers to recognized the urgent need to invest in sustainable infrastructure solutions in order to position Turkey as a key trasnportation link for Eurasia. With that in mind the region has seen an unprecedented rise in the number of planned tunnel projects. The tunnel industry in Turkey is being stimulated by huge investments in rail, roads and hydropower projects.
